Where can I see pricing? Click on Pricing on the menu of the website (and make sure you scroll all the way down).
How do I secure a date? When are payments do? I would send you a contract, pretty easy to sign online, and a 30% of the total is the deposit required to secure the date. Remainder balance is due a month before the wedding.
How far in advanced should I book you guys? We are super high in demand because of our pricing compared to our quality of work. We are already booking 3 years from now. If we told you that we are available for your date... secure it as soon as possible before it gets taken.
How do I check if you're available for my wedding date? Click HERE to check availability.
What forms of payment do you take? Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle, Credit Cards (2.9% fee to cards), and Paypal.
Do you offer video? Yes, we have an awesome videographer. Click on Videos on the menu of the website.
Do you have insurance? Yes. We have more than what major venues require.
Do you offer engagement photos? Not at the moment. We are only booking weddings. But if you really want one I may be able to make it happen, depending on the location. I would say about 6% of our clients get engagement shoots.
What happens if the photographer is ill? The great thing about our company is that it is a talented team, not a one-photographer stop. Even though we are extremely reliable, the team functions as a back up. W have never left anyone without a photographer at last minute.
If I have to move my wedding date because of Covid-19 restrictions, can I do it without losing my deposit? Yes, totally. We are super flexible on that and you will not lose your money.
What's included in all packages? All the editing. We edit each photo one by one. You will receive an online gallery where you can download your edited photos without watermarks. All inclusive.
How many photos will I get? Is there a limit of photos taken? There's no limit of photos taken, we document a wedding the way it develops. On editing, the 8 to 10 hour packages typically yields (on average) to 500-800 edited photos.
Do I get to download my photos in high resolution without watermarks without having to pay extra? Yes. Your online gallery will be connected to a lab. Your photos will be set-up and format-ready for print, so you can order a print at the click of a button and they can be delivered directly to you at a good price. You're also not stuck with us in terms of printing, you can have your files and go print anywhere you'd like.
What is your style? This question became a trend, however we do't believe that there's such a thing as style. A good photographer is many "styles", he/she will provide candid photos, artistic photos, fun photos, traditionals, and artistic. Thats how a good wedding photographer covers a wedding. The best thing for you to do is to look at the photographer's photos and if you like what you see then go for it. Don't hire a photographer based on what you read, only what you see. I could say a million things about my work, but really only my work without any words show what it actually is... and it is described different to every mind that sees it.
How do I know when to pick 2 photographers v.s. 1? If you and your partner are getting ready in different locations (or any part of the wedding are two events happening in different locations at the same time) we recommend 2 photographers. Also if you have a big wedding, or anything over 120 people. However, the amount of photographers does not necessarily mean a better product. Some companies out there will even offer 3 photographers that don't even get close to how one of us covers a wedding. So, the amount of photographers depends on what company you hire. Getting a second photographer in a good team raises the probability of capturing a moment, gets you different angles, and gets you more pictures. If you have a few extra hundred bucks for a second shooter, go for it for sure.
What is your biggest photography tip to get good photos? Photography is writing with light. Hence, light is very important for photography. Getting photos taken during the best lighting (twilight time, which is the last part of sunset) for 15 minutes beats any part of the day. 99% of photographers mention the "golden hour" but in reality the best time is right before it gets dark completely: twilight.
How many hours of coverage should I get? For the most beautiful gallery that you will enjoy for the rest of your life, with some "gettin ready" photos... aim for two hours prior to the ceremony all the way to the end of reception. So, if for example ceremony is at 4pm and the reception ends at 10pm, 8 hours of coverage from 2pm-10pm would be the recommended (providing everything is happening in the same place or very close) however adding more time is never a bad idea.
Should I get an album? How much are they? You're hiring these awesome photographers and you will get beautiful photos but you're going to hide them in a computer somewhere forever? Noooo don't do that, get the most out of your investment by making an album. High quality albums go down through generations and you can look at these photos in the physical universe, its something physical that you can touch and see. It's where you have your memories of your wedding on your coffee table or book shelf. The current generation has lost that touch, but as soon as they see one of our professional albums with their photos they become fascinated with it. Pricing is found by clicking on Album Choices on the website menu.
Does the album include printed photos inside? How does designing work? Yes. Iff you request an album to be made with your package, we will send you an email to flag 100 photos after you get your gallery and we will design an album from that. Its a pretty simple process. You can also design the album yourself from the online gallery, it has a built-in interface in case you would love the creative process.
How do you shoot a wedding? What are your typical clients? We can work with anyone, camera shy or not. Highly energetic or relaxed. We adapt. We shoot according to our expertise. We shoot according to how the wedding happens as a story. If we see a moment worthy of a photo, we take it. If we see a place where an artistic photo should be created and the couple is willing, we make it happen. We try to bring out the love and joy on pictures so they can be documented forever. If the couple wants an specific photo during the wedding day, we take it. We are not a bunch of grumpy artists... we are super friendly and easy to work with but for the most part we want our couples having fun and enjoying their friends and family while we do our thing.
When do I get my photos? Typically 6 weeks, but depends on how busy the season is. We can place you on top of the line and you can receive photos the same week of the wedding for $350 more.
How will I receive my images? You will receive an online gallery that's connected to a lab. You can download all of your edited files from the gallery without watermarks. You can order prints and albums from the gallery. You can also share the album with anyone. You can hide photos in your gallery before you share it too!
Does it matter if you have or haven't shot at my wedding venue before? Nope. Not at all. It may be a myth and some venues might recommend someone they have worked with before but the truth is a good photographer sees where all the good photos take place in a location in a matter of seconds.
How much experience do you have? More than the typical photographer, we as a company book about 200 weddings a year. I have booked weddings in the desert, on top of glaciers, and so on. You probably will not find such a varied portfolio anywhere else.
Do You have back-up equipment? Yes. we actually have a back-up of every piece of equipment we bring. A back-up of every battery, lens, camera, charger, etc.
We hate getting our photo taken! And we don’t want lots of posed shots. Is that a problem?! Nope. We can totally be candid photographers and adapt to you.
What is the personality of your team? In picking my team, I don't judge members based on photography talent only... but also personality and reliability. A good wedding photographer can work well with people and is a likable person. We are not a bunch of awkward photographers that will make you feel weird during your entire day. Your friends and family will love us and if you want us to party with you we will. If you want us to chill and relax with you we will. If you want us to be wild or the opposite we will. After all a wedding is a party, a celebration of love, you don't want a grumpy photographer that kills the energy.
